Fancy Tiger Crafts have a great pattern for a top called the Sailor Top. I hemmed and hawed about the pattern for awhile until my friend Pam posted a picture of one she made and I went and made one up right away. Now I have finished 3 of them and here they are!
This one is using a print from Alison Glass’ Handcrafted line.
This is using a great yellow fabric from Joann’s.
And this is the softest, being made from Bespoke double gauze by Cotton + Steel.
I have a couple of other patterns that I have been making from lately so I will try and share them here soon as well.
Super cute!!! I love the yellow one, especially on you. :) Is the double gauze wrinkle-prone? I think I need to learn knit sewing because I hate clothes that wrinkle. Especially in this omg heat.
ReplyDeleteWell don't you look cute in your fancy duds!
ReplyDeleteGreat additions to your wardrobe!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how productive you are! All of the tops look great. Isn't it fun to make your own clothes? I have a lot of fabric set aside but am having trouble finding patterns I like in my size :-(
ReplyDeleteNice! I do that procrastinate thing too. :P They look great! The aqua one is my fave on you and I'm guessing your fave too cos that double gauze is heavenly. Congrats, Girlie!
