Sewing fun!

Well, I have been adding to my animal repertoire and have been making many more coasters. If any of you are interested, they are $16 with shipping to Canada and the US, and $18 elsewhere. Here are some new ones.

 

 

 

 

 

Cats… although many people have pointed out they look like swans, so it’s kind of two for one :)

 

Some pugs… people seemed to really want pugs and then they haven’t sold, so I have these two sets left at the moment.

and then just to show how they start out after I cut them out. People have asked if I use a machine, but nope, I trace and cut with scissors :)

I also have made this bumble bee pouch as a request after I had one in my giveaway on IG… it is based off of this tutorial and then “bumble bee-ised” LOL. It just popped into my head and I went with it, I think it is pretty cute.

What have you all been up to?

Dachshunds everywhere!!

While job hunting I have been trying to come up with some ways to make some extra money. It’s been hard as most  of the people who like and appreciate handmade make it, so often they are a hard sell LOL! Well, I came up with dachshund coasters and in 5 days made 44 of them… phew!

The first set… I really liked the funkiness of them :)

I am happy to say that they have all sold! Now I just need to make more things :)

Vermont :)

My weekend in Burlington was awesome! As usual Vermont is gorgeous to drive through and my Mom and I had a great time! We stayed in a B&B called the Bear’s Lair Inn in Stowe and had amazing breakfasts and a great room!

The highlight of course was meeting Karen and seeing Amy again!

We had so much fun and never ran out of things to talk about. And given that these two have been best friends since grade school, never once did I feel like a third wheel! Love you guys! And my Mom kept commenting on how much she really liked those young ladies :)
